Evil Player is designed to be one of the most minimalistic audio players that you have ever used. Its main purpose is to allow you to listen to your favorite music, while also being able to focus on your other activities.
While you can not be impressed by its graphical interface (it's simply a black screen), the fact that this program takes up incredibly few CPU resources and that it is smaller than 1 MB can be a pretty important factor in making it your default audio player. Furthermore, the right-click menu that the program provides is fairly comprehensive, giving you access to a wide array of useful settings.
There are a number of things that I really liked about this program, like the fact that you can choose to minimize or to close it to the system tray, and that it allows you to determine the transparency level of its main window. Like any player worth mentioning, it allows you to control it with the help of user customizable global shortcut keys.
I know that there are a lot of similar programs that go out of their way to provide you with some awesome visual designs, but while they may look cool, they aren't always very practical. So, if all you actually want is to enjoy your music while also being able to work with other programs in optimum conditions, Evil Player is an application that is really worth having.
